Tall one is my "Dwarf Prempavee Farm." which last week was 183cm/72in and still growing taller. Sprouted June 17, all outdoor NorCal. No visible flowers yet but double hairs at nodes. To me looks like a full sativa morphology. So tall and strong!
Next to her is a Type II from Emily in Oregon showing very classic indica morphology, nearly done (also 2 weeks earlier sprout).
It looks she will not very dwarf unless you top her and switch time light circle. But if you don't care size and timing you can let it grow to see where she can go
If you have no problem for space you can let her go. But as she is not in flower yet you also are in time. In general I observed that Thai ganja do not particularly like to be pruned, so if you can avoid I think she will be more happy. Depends on your needs. If you want to try light deprivation it may be useful to make her shorter. Also do we know she is a she? You can test a small branch inside a controlled room to induce a faster flowering and see
Thank you for all the patient explanation. I will check on light dep, as I do have a shed. Maybe the bright harvest moon is lengthening the day this month
Almost every node has 2 hairs. here is the puffiest one.
Now I'm sorry that I did not opened this germination room in time and they have grow to much so most of them have broken or damaged. Anyway germination rate for the Dwarf was positive: 15of16 - 93/95% passed but I was able to transplant only 9 due my mistake
Your results for Dwarf Prempavee are very interesting. I am also in Northern California and had one dwarf grow very small while a second dwarf grew very tall like a classic Thai ganja expression similar to yours. It ended up flowering okay and produced great mango scented flowers but it took until January to finish maturing.
Yes my selections are not "stable genetics" as modern breed intend the term, as they come from open pollination fields and in most of cases I was able to select only the mother. So is normal to have this different expressions. Knowing the mother give us a more high probability to get that expressions again but is not guaranteed like it is for a modern breed genetic. If that is an issue or an interesting advantage depends on the goals of the grower.
