This is very interesting topic. I have the same experience with my flowers late last year and early this year. two different strains and different harvest schedule. I thought it's just me just having intense experiences every time I smoke my flowers. I am not a heavy user btw. Until few people that tried my flowers sending me feedback of having "psychedelic like" experiences. one of my closest friend told me that two of his friend that tried my flowers have an intense "psychedelic like" experience and they vomit because of how much high they are. I don't believe it until I saw it myself. My best bestfriend have some weird hallucination and she vomit too. Though they like the effect and they don't complain, I still don't know what to feel.

BTW it only started when I switched 100% organic farming. I grow indoor. the strains I'm talking about are Purple Queen and Special Queen

Interresting, do you use bottled organic nutes ?

Do you spray anything like organic neem oil ?

Neem oil could be the cause of CHS . I Def feel bad organoleptic effects on stomach when it had neem cake or neem oil spray , even in veg only as I never spray in flower since ever . I'm staying away from it and time and more research will most likely proof this that Neem is one of the CHS causes and not Cannabis

I can understand spraying of neem oil on flower, but using neem leaf powder or neem cake as soil amendment shouldn't logically be a problem. Both neem and karanja tree offers good value npk and even some micro's

I'm not saying your wrong but i would be surprised for sure

I do use neem leaf powder in my living soil mix, so i would be happy to know for sure:thinking:

I also use neem vinegar(stinky) in veg both for ganja and others, i have never felt adverse effects from this product

But like all products have to be applied correctly both regards timing and amounts. I think this is where some commercial growers have flunked before, making people sick. However the symptoms from smoking neem oil seem to be worse than chs alone

How big part of the genepool is mutated or genetically modified cultivars? The Breeders doesn't seem to be honest enough to tell

On the other hand most is grown with led lights, it sure doesn't feel like the sun when sit under one

I never heard of this phenomena before leds came along

I don't know??

I sincerely doubt sungrown organic (unsprayed) flowers can make this happen

So fook the neem, after reading a lot it will be my last bottle, not worth the risk:nauseated_face:

Exactly my thought before, but azadirachtin is a toxic, it acts as fungicide as well, might not be optimal for mycelium, neem cake still contains it, and the plant does absorb it, again some people might handle it ,others not, rather not taking risk , for the sake of all the beneficial microbes and fungi . Note that some elements like clay in soil could make the neem cake even release more azadirachtin in the soil for the plant to absorb

Omg your right

They suck it in :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

Here i was clearly wrong, thanks for the tip :folded_hands:

Im using leaf powder and it supposedly has significantly lower amounts of it, but there must be other alternatives non toxic ones

I bought 3 kilo of this as i was planning on making a big batch of living soil it will probably also be the last time

The toxin is completely broken down by the time the plants start flowering bc 4 week cooking time for living soil and 4 or more weeks vegetative.

But then there isn't even any bugfighting reason to use neem in living soil. So in the future i will choose another recipe, maybe even vegan or at least vegetarian

Low kill low till setup to be exact  something always died in that soil no matter what

Went a lill of topic now, but theres always a chance the reported psychedelic effects is connected to the way weed is grown or inputs made by folks or even nature, like the (mad honey) as an example

Doing mainly brand nettle brew, use as foliar spray in veg and it prevents , also can be mixin chitin in soil, fulvic and humic acids , all to improve the health and mainly immunity of the plant , keep it tonic yo!

Oh stinging nettle, i used to make that in Norway. The stonkiest shit possible. I didnt spray but used as a soil drench. I boiled soup for eating as well. A true superfood Do you know if stinging nettle grows natively in Thailand @Prempavee

I do use crabmeal and it contains chitin 5-10%

Humic/fulvic powder that i mix in water

Maybe i should start a topic on Living soil, i have so much to learn and it's in the back of my mind 24/7 anyway

Love cheese and nettlesoup to eat as well , but yes I think it's not called brandnettle , but stinging nettle in English,my bad, that's cuz in Dutch its brandnetel. In Thailand you got no european stinging nettles as a native , but there is family of her . Devil nettle bushes, if not mistaken, they are as good for nettle brew on plants, but not sure if you should use that, as they are very nasty stinging nettle bushes . Maybe some purple varieties that do not sting ? It contains a lot of micronutrients for the plants as well . Over 5 weeks veg I spray twice only , I'm afraid that my weed would taste like nettle if to much, YES!!! I'm a paranoid pothead :joy::joy:

Ganja is a plant very pest resistant. Can be used herself to protect other plants too. The key is to keep her healthy in the optimal enviroment and situation. That way she don't need any ipm
