Should I prune the overhang? Or would it reduce my yield?

There’s quite a bit of overhang with some skinny weaker branches and idk if cutting them off would be a good idea. Also I know my scrog is hella short, I didn’t expect them to be this big. I already added cinder blocks under neath the net for more support but that just made them taller :sob: this is my first grow. And they’ve also started showing pre flowers already so would trimming more just kill the plant and give less or smaller nugs?

What is the problem, you don’t want them to become big? You can clean up everything that is too small and thin , but hurry up and don’t go too heavy as is already a bit late. When they begin flowering is better not to touch anymore. They also have magnesium deficiency . Don’t worry is very common and easy to fix, just buy some Epson salts and add a spoon of it on the pot

The small branches will make small buds and not very compact flowers

What Prempavee said! Once preflower starts you have a three week window to thin and prune. You’ll learn.

Get rid of the weak branches. I reread what Prempa said “magnesium”. Use epsom salt. Two tablespoons per gallon during regular watering once a month for maintenance or two teaspoons every water/feed until yellowing stops.

First impression you are chasing to much of the science. Concentrate on growing, keep them happy and feed only essential nutrients (N P.K.Mg - add calcium source start of grow. Your plants will yield what the plant has to give.

Wait but I didn’t ask anything about the science. I just asked if I should trim the small branches in case they break off :sob:

Apologies! Sorry if i read you wrong.

Thin the weak branches soon Helps the healthy branches. If by breaking you mean weak branches snip them as required. If you mean large colas breaking cradle the plant with string that takes care of your problem. Or you can add a support to each starting to bend.

About all i can suggest
