Now I know, people who love AI generated images they really love those images they create and they can get very upset when you try to tell them that you don't like.
I think this is happening because to make those images costs them money and time and also because they helped the machine to design a final result that is step by step psychologically adapted and perfectly made to have a grip on their psyche
They keep giving inputs to the machine and inspect images untill are coming out those that can generate on them stupor and surprise to the point that they feel and think: "Oh wow ! This is amazing! I have to share the other people will be amazed too".
Anyway when they share this images are not so popular as they wished and instead they even cause repulsion and heavy critics. Why this happens?
For several reasons:
1 - the image (text) was designed following the guidelines of the AI customer and his taste. The goal of AI is enter his psyche to induce him to search more and spend more credits. AI pursue the satisfaction of who is using it in that moment, it cannot really predict others reactions on future time that is the ability of the living and sentient creature only.
2- AI is considered by many, and with reason, not eco-friendly and socially negative so when they see that kind of content they reject
3- AI, on most cases, has a recognizable style and some people (like me) do not like that style even I agree that some images AI generated sometimes are intriguing, still I don't like to watch them too much they have some dark noir style that is a bit repugnant to me. As they are "painted" by something that is not alive I think they have the style of the death like the death in person is the author and her aura it reflects on what is produced. Also AI generated images contain many errors and they look "cheap". Texts also are a bit twisted and manipulative.
So the question on this topic is "AI generated images and texts are destroying the Cannabis Community?"
Why I make this question? Because recently on the major social networks (but not only there) we are observing how so many people in the cannabis community has begun to publish AI generated content and so many others complain about it with them and they have arguments and they stop to follow to eachothers or they even become heavy haters of one another.
I like to say that I belive that sometimes we can use AI images and text, like does @Dien-Amok on his Topic "States of Minds" for example. I think if you use that way is okay because he do not publish things that are important he just send flashes. But if you use to make the poster of your genetics already becomes more borderline. Wasn't better a photo of a bud? or a text with a drawing? And if you use to publish important news , like announcements of a newspaper, or canna activism I think the line becomes broken and you are stepping in a situation where so many will take distance from you and you will lose credibility. So what do you think about? Is this a real problem? and if you feel it is how we can fix it?
