Back in the 60s & 70s, Nepal was the ultimate hippie Shangri-La — the original global cannabis capital where seekers, artists, musicians, trekkers, and free spirits from around the world gathered high in the Himalayas. :herb::sparkles:

Nepal became the FIRST country in the world to openly operate government-licensed cannabis dispensaries for tourists — with hash shops, cafés, restaurants, and social spaces legally serving cannabis in the heart of Kathmandu during the hippie trail era. A legendary chapter of history many people still don’t know about. :fire:

Then came the global War on Drugs… and a culture deeply connected to spirituality, Shiva, nature, and Himalayan tradition was forced underground. But the roots were never destroyed. The legacy still lives on — in the villages, the music, the landrace genetics, the chillums, and the spirit of the Himalayas. :sunrise_over_mountains:

Nepal wasn’t just a destination… it was a vibration.

And the world is slowly remembering again.

this short documentary is absolutely worth watching and very usefull to understand many dinamics about :ganja: prohibitionism that are valid not only for Nepal but fo many other countries worldwide

The nixon iron arm against “drugs” has made nations to destroy :ganja: fields and culture and replaced with heavy drugs like eroine so it will be more correct to call “THE WAR ON DRUGS” fo Nixon the “THE WAR FOR THE HEAVY DRUGS EMPIRE”

Now, as we always known since the begin but is clear now from historical evidence, the war on drug (if was intented to reduce harm of drugs abuse) is officially failed

We must end the war on drugs for the safety and health of our children

Thailand has been the first country of the world succeding doing that but now is holdig the pressure of the rest of the world not following

Definetly we can beging our 1st Ganja Cup movment of prople supporting the next country to liberate herbs and plants same of Thailand: Nepal
