For a more complete feed you can make some tea like this Vegan recipe:
- Organic Banana Peels (2–3 pieces): Provides potassium.
- Sunflower Hull Ash (2 tablespoons): provide the essential phosphorus
- Unsulfured Blackstrap Molasses (1 tablespoon): Feeds microbes and supplies calcium and iron.
- Epsom Salt (1/2 teaspoon): Supplies magnesium and sulfur.
How to make
- Boil the peels: Chop the banana peels and boil them in 1 liter of water for 15 minutes to extract the potassium.
- Strain and mix: Strain out the solid peels. While the liquid is warm, stir in your rock phosphate (or sunflower ash), molasses, and Epsom salt until dissolved.
- Cool it down: Let the mixture cool completely to room temperature.
- Ferment: Let this mix
3. Mixing with Coconut Water (The Final Feed)
Combine your components into a 1-gallon (approx. 3.8 liters) watering container:
- Fill the container with 1 gallon of clean, dechlorinated water.
- Add 1 cup of your vegan Bloom Tea concentrate.
- Add 4 tablespoons of raw, pure coconut water.
- Adjust pH: Stir well and ensure the pH is between 6.0 and 6.5 for soil.
Note: to ferment is better than boiling but require time. So if you have no time use the method above.
If you can prepare this recipe some days in advance (I think you should try) instead of boil the bananas you chop them very thin and you place the mix in one jar that you keep in the dark at room temperature.
When you see that the fermentation process is ready (min. from 3 days to 2 weeks depends) you can diluite, mix with the coconut and apply
