I read them all too. Big fan of Castaneda and Don Juan. I always believed every word there and was very usefull for my search of β€œtruth”

Early morning before dawn. Quiet! Reading in dim light. Unfolding his story. Was good for time/place. Took me out of the present.

Later during a Cultural Anthropology class, my Native American Professor showed me the forces of the natural world. What exists in all humans! It just is. Later an anthropologist tried to make sense, called it the first religion and labeled it β€œanimism”. Unless you’re living among indigenous peoples who have limited contact with the outside it is impossible to live in that world.
