I love Sungrow because is more natural and sustainable. You don’t need to pay the electricity bills and the sun light has a more complete spectrum. Also outdoor they get the moon light too that even is usually not mentioned surely has some effects too

Aloha & It’s all about the light intensity and CO2 that at higher elevations here in Hawaii we have smaller plants and better seed and flavors too.

Nothern Grower here 
I’m working on a variety that’s good for outdoors here, but in general our outdoor stuff is just contaminated with mold and other things. Usually can’t finish 9 weeks of flower. So it’s mainly hash or automatics we can aim for on a private scale.
You guys are really lucky to have outdoor conditions for Cannabis

Because there is cold to much? I think that is true some areas are generally better for grow outdoors.. but you must search very well the varieties that can adapt better. Most of modern genetics they are breed out of varieties that are from the desert.. this why they mold

It’s getting very rainy here from Oktober / end of September. Then it will also get cold immidatly while the days get super short and the sun weak.
It can get pretty random aswell. Like 1 out of 4 years u might get lucky with the weather. Simply have to use short flowering plants or use a greenhouse.
But still if you just grow some in your Garden you will usually have pests and waste from trees contaminating the plant anyway more or less. It’s really sort of a masterclass to grow flower outdoors - aswell as legaly still too complex to get normalized in quantity in my place - so you have to hide it aswell, can’t use open fields etc.

Yh, i’m currently on it. Unfortunately it’s a very slow working project due to the legal restrictions that I have mentioned.
I have 2 landraces and a fern-Type-Cross that I run outdoors this year. I have „pre-selected" them last year in a ridiculously small setting. It was enough so select after resistencies but I couldn’t rate the flowers.
1st is a Kwazulu (african sativa) - has no issues with the Cold, absolutely amazing. I could technically plant her out right before warm Season to win extra time in veg. Downside is a long flower time, but theoretically still workable. Seems to be more pest resistent aswell.
2nd is a Pakistan Valley (wild indica). Short flower; definetly a Trichome Producer/hash plant. Also resistent to Cold and heat (I need both resistencies 
).
3rd the Banana Chem Freak from TerpyZ. Absolute High end heat/dry resistency. (Slowed Transpiration) But also vegges slower. This one is camouflaged so I don’t have to worry about people stealing my crop or worse.
Unfortunately I couldn’t select a stable male from these lineages, because this feels like the Perfect Cocktail of varieties to me. That’s y I started to select the NL’s to get a fitting & short flowering male that also add’s more THC to it (hopefully).
It’s a Long way.
Yes, there are varieties that flower short, but These strains usually come with a couchlock and boring terps. I feel like changing that

Yesterday a person that I know when’s to the hospital because her child had a partial epileptic seizure and they prescribed him lorazepam!
They give benzodiazepine to Kids and in main time of you even say to give ganja instead you are considered outlaw..

Hi i just wanted to chime in
I,ve been growing some in the far north at about 67 degrees north and we have no dark in the summer full light all night. I’ve only had 100% success with autos there especially lowryder and blueberry auto from seedsman
But a man from Germany i met in icmag sent me some beans with a strain called (Friesland or freezeland), he said it was climaticly suitable for areas around there
It is a photo strain, i had to finish the ladt eeeks indoors but thats allmost on the north pole
The only photo that actually made buds up there

I’ve seen that Friesland variety on a seedbank.
I’ve decided recently to only grow regulars. I’ll See if I can find them. „Nordle" from Shantibaba should be similar

Wow first time I see, very beatiful and interesting. I think her structure she looks somehow similar to foitong. I think that more skinny buds and open structures are the most viables options in many climates
